EtfWatch (etfwatch.app) is an independent index-inclusion tracker. This page explains what data is collected when you use the site, who collects it, and the choices you have.

Advertising and cookies

EtfWatch is funded by ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure ad performance. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Your consent choices

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, through a Google-certified consent management platform. Until you choose, ads are requested without personalisation or ad storage. You can review or withdraw your choice at any time:

Accounts and alerts

Browsing EtfWatch needs no account. If you create one to receive inclusion alerts, we store your email address, a securely hashed password, the alerts you configure and any webhook URL you add. This is used only to send the alerts you asked for. Account data is held by our database and authentication provider, Supabase, and alert emails are sent through a transactional email provider. We never sell or share it for marketing.

Logs and diagnostics

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability, and application errors are captured to help us fix bugs. We do not use these to build profiles of visitors.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. To delete your account and alerts, or to make any other request, email contact@etfwatch.app.
